In accordance with Articles 15, 17, 22, 29, and 31 of the Personal Information Protection Act and Article 33 of the Credit Information Use and Protection Act, I hereby consent to the collection and use of my personal (credit) information by the Washiz Asia-Pacific Character Contest Operations Office as outlined below.  

● Collection and Use of Personal (Credit) Information The Washiz Asia-Pacific Character Contest Operations Office values the protection of personal information and complies with the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection, etc. Personal information collected in connection with the Washiz Asia-Pacific Character Contest will not be used for purposes other than those specified, nor will it be provided to third parties without the user’s consent.  

● Personal Information Collected  Name, email address, mailing address, contact number, date of birth, gender, affiliation/school, how you heard about the contest  For participants under the age of 13: guardian's relationship, guardian's email, name, and contact number  

● Purpose of Collection  Identification and registration for service use, information management, delivery of contest-related announcements and communications

● Retention and Disposal of Personal Information  Collected information will be retained and used from the date of registration.  Retention period: three (3) years from the end of the event.  Upon disposal, all information will be destroyed in an irreversible manner:  Printed or written records will be shredded or incinerated.  Electronic files will be permanently deleted using unrecoverable methods.  

● Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties To ensure smooth operation and communication related to the contest, personal information may be handled by designated service providers. All outsourcing agreements include provisions to ensure the secure handling of personal information, including regular checks of the subcontractor’s compliance with safety and disposal obligations.  Hangout Co., Ltd.: Operation of the Washiz Asia-Pacific Character Contest Office and contest website, delivery of emails and SMS messages, server and data management  

● Rights and Responsibilities of Data Subjects  Participants may access or modify their personal information at any time and may withdraw their consent or opt out of notifications.  Participants are also responsible for protecting their own personal information. The Washiz Asia-Pacific Character Contest Operations Office is not liable for data leaks caused by negligence (e.g., unattended login sessions, sharing of credentials), hacking using unforeseeable or uncontrollable methods, or other incidents beyond reasonable control.  Participants must keep their personal information up to date. Any issues arising from inaccurate information are the sole responsibility of the participant.  

● Safe Management of Personal Information The Washiz Asia-Pacific Character Contest Operations Office takes the following technical and administrative measures to ensure that personal information is not lost, stolen, leaked, altered, or damaged:  All personal information is encrypted and securely stored.  Access to personal information is strictly limited, and all authorized personnel receive ongoing training to emphasize the importance of data protection.
